RIGGING
Our team of riggers and operators are some of the most experienced in the rigging field. Each team consists of qualified riggers, fitters, boiler makers and various assistance staff as well as all required equipment for the job at hand.
TRANSPORT
P&L Machine Moving and Rigging are experts in the reliable transportation of machinery, earth moving equipment, abnormal loads and more. We have a wide range of trucks and trailers available and our team of drivers have several years of experience in moving large and complex items. Where necessary our air suspension vehicles are used for more delicate transport i.e. computerised equipment and jet engines. All vehicles are monitored 24/7 by satellite tracking throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, providing our clients with peace of mind, knowing that their equipment is in safe hands.
CONTAINER HANDLING
P&L Machine Moving and Rigging are a professional service provider that specialises in moving and rigging large containers. We have the necessary equipment and personnel to de-stuff and pack containers either at our own premises or at the customer’s premises. We make sure that all goods and equipment are secured using lashing or chock and block methods. P&L provide container haulage services from port to customer location with the use of 6m and 12m GP containers, high cube containers, open top containers, flat racks and more. Additionally, we have an in-house crating and packaging division that can custom build bases for machines or complete crates to customers’ requirements and specifications. Lastly, we offer warehousing services such as container storage, packing and unpacking.
CRATING AND PACKAGING
At P&L Machine Moving and Rigging we custom build bases for machines or complete crates to customers’ requirements and specifications. All crates and bases come with fumigation certificates for international requirements and equipment secured onto the bases for transport. All crated equipment is secured in heavy duty moisture protective plastics and any vulnerable parts of the equipment are covered with a rust inhibitor.

Our in-house artisans are able to fabricate and repair any kind of steel structure, including rails, stands, gantries, frames, lifting components, walkways, ladders, jacking points, and pipe blanking. With our experienced personnel and advanced equipment, we are confident that any project from large scale to small scale can be completed to the highest standard.

WAREHOUSING AND STORAGE SOLUTIONS
P&L Machine Moving and Rigging offer storage solutions in our 1800 m² warehouse for short and long term storage. Our modern warehousing facilities are safe and secure. The facility boasts a 15 ton overhead crane and forklifts ranging from 3 ton to 45 ton capacity. Additionally, we offer an outdoor storage facility. Our premises are fully walled with electrified fencing, 24-hour security and CCTV surveillance. Goods stored are insured for a value of up to R5 million with additional cover available on request.
CRANAGE

LIGHT ENGINEERING AND FABRICATION
P&L Machine Moving and Rigging provides a light fabrication workshop wherein we are capable of fabricating light steel work and offering repairs or modifications to your current plant facilities. Our team of in-house artisans, including qualified boiler makers and fitters, are experts in their field. They possess the expertise to develop robust steel structures, such as stands, frames, rails, lifting points, walkways, ladders, section replacements, jacking points, gantries, and much more. Furthermore, we excel in conducting repairs on a wide range of machinery, tools, plants, and earth moving machinery.
